There are very few things that scream “Fresh & Clean” like a crisp white button up (or down…whatever fits your fancy). This boyfriend button up Zara was mine the minute I laid eyes on it. This is how I shop these days. If I immediately gravitate towards an item, and I think of a number of ways I can wear it, then I’ll purchase. Spending an unnecessary amount of time debating whether an item is worth usually results in me wearing the item once or twice. No mas.

Who do you Surround Yourself with?

Speaking of gravitating towards things, I’m a firm believer that we attract people who are like minded. I always find it interesting when people complain about the people around them, because I can’t help but to think “well, they are comfortable enough around you, so maybe there’s a disconnect”. I’m a vibe feeder aka, I can get a vibe off of someone within the first hour of meeting them. Seriously. We are pretty telling human beings. Whether it’s our mannerism or our response system, many people are able to recognize if they can connect with someone instantly.

My mom would always tell me “not everyone is going to like you. If everyone likes you, the problem is you.” And that has become so relevant today.

This doesn’t mean be rude, malicious, racist, and prejudice. Being true to yourself doesn’t mean you have the right to be an evil person. 

Be cognizant of who is in your circle, inner and outer. These people are a direct reflection of who you are. And whether you like it or not, they show your true colors.
