Hey Everyone! I partnered with my girls Thaina and Patrice of ThoseSDSGirls and Victoria of VicStyles to show you 4 very different ways you can wear a leather jacket. This was such a quick but fun shoot we did before heading to a sponsored holiday event. Can I just say that I truly admire these ladies. Not to mention #BlackGirlMagic.

GIRLY

My style was more on the girly spectrum. I paired my faux leather jacket from Forever 21 with this sheer maxi dress that can be worn as a dress or as a duster/cover up. Of course I was the one with the blush colored jacket. But that really shouldn’t be a surprise at this point haha. I completed the look with a pair of ankle booties (c/o Boohoo).

Thaina’s look was sporty, giving the spin on athleisure. Patrice’s was sexy, pairing a black and white jumpsuit with mesh booties. Vic’s was more cool/laid back, with the metallic sneakers to complete the look. Check out their blogs for their complete looks!

It’s really important to understand who really has your back in this life and who doesn’t. Talk is VERY cheap and these days. A lot of people will talk a good game but when it comes down to actually being there and supporting you in your endeavors, all of a sudden they are no where to be found. When it comes to being an emotional support system, some people that you expect to be a literal shoulder to cry on are all of a sudden…absent. I am still figuring out how to manuever this. I still get very disappointed, annoyed, and then saddened when things like this happen, especially now.
