Styling Embroidery for Fall

Yes, back again with two more embroidered looks (thank you to Boohoo for sending these pieces over for ya girl!). We are gearing for “fall” here in Cali. And while the Fall season isn’t super chilly in SoCal, I still like to try and dress for the season. So for all my West Coast folks, this ones for you! I noticed myself getting more into floral print and floral patterned clothing this summer. But as the season is closing out, it’s not something I want to leave behind.

First up, this look is what I like to call my upgraded work look. We all know that I have this thing with tying up button downs. And these culottes are seriously so comfy and LIGHTWEIGHT. What I like the most about this look is that if you’re a working woman, you can easily make this look job appropriate. All you would need to do is tuck the shirt in, add a belt, and swap the mules for something like a pump or a sandal. I tied the look together with oversized black tassel earrings and my pink mules.

This second look is for those obsessed with mom jeans. Ever since I thrifted my first pair, I’ve been in love with the fit of this style of jeans. So getting my hands on an embroidered pair was a no brainer. I’ve styled this vest before, but went with buttoning it up halfway to showcase the print on the front of the jeans. This 90s inspired handbag tied the look and not gonna lie, felt like I was a modern day Spice Girl with this fit.

Until next time…

Loving the floral embroidery trend. The jeans and the shirt are both so pretty. I love look one as it can be switched up for work, school or play as you said :)

Love the embroidery! And definitely need to get my hands on an olive green duster like yours. So cute!
