Olive x Faux Suede

Happy Monday! Today’s post is going to be focused on the color OLIVE, which is quickly becoming another fave color of mine, not to mention, olive and blush go together so seamlessly. Any who, fall is officially upon us marked by kids going back to school, days slowly becoming shorter and a slight (very very slight) shift in weather. I like to transition (figuratively speaking) my wardrobe little by little. Adding key fall pieces to outfits that could be worn for any season; well, if you’re in Cali at least.

For this look, I went with the trusty all white fit (and yes, there is another all white outfit coming to the blog soon lol) and paired an olive faux suede longline vest with a pair of olive faux suede booties. Let’s talk about these booties real quick though! Dear Public Desire, thank you for making these shoes! When I say these babies fit like a glovveeeeeeee, I mean it. Such a sleek design and can go with any outfit. For a more laid back look, I would opt for white culottes, a white loose crop top, and a tan or olive wide brim hat.

This longline vest is what I like to call the piece that brings it all together. I like how it adds a hint of casual to this otherwise semi-dressy outfit. And for us 5’8″ and over girls, longline anything just works! It’s flattering to our height and adds some flare and dimension to the fit.
