A New Way Of Life

Hey Everyone. I hope that all has been well with you. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I recently lost my mother to cancer. It’s been a tough couple of week to say the least, and thus why I haven’t been doing much of anything, including blogging. I know I’m still in the grieving process and probably will be for the next couple of months. My sister and I came to Canada to get away from everything and spend some time with family for a few weeks.

I’ve been debating whether I would do a blog post while I was out here or not, but figured I could do one and see how I feel about it. It did feel a little weird. I don’t know, things are just very different now without my mom here. She followed this blog from the first day I started 4 years ago and was my number 1 supporter. Every little milestone was met with so much happiness from her. That’s one of the things, out of a million, that I will miss: her support.

I say all this to say please bear with me over the next few months as I cope. I have not forgotten about InFashionITrust at all. It is still my baby (well, toddler now) and I will continue to cultivate it and make it grow. But for right now, I am just trying to do things at the pace that I feel is right. And some moments, I don’t want to do much at all.

Thank you in advance for understanding and I hope that you enjoy these shots I took at Ryerson University in Downtown Toronto (quite hard to snap pictures with 100 undergrad students are just staring at you lol).
