don’t write Christmas list, but this year I figured I’d share with you all a couple things I’m hoping to get. And when I say hoping to get, I mean I will more than likely be buying them for myself haha! I feel that once you reach a certain age, you shouldn’t be pressuring your parents or siblings for a gift. It should just come out of the willingness of their heart. So, if I do see something under the tree on Christmas day that I know I didn’t wrap myself, it’ll be a nice pleasant surprise :)
Midi Skirts: Sooooooo I may or may not have a slight obsession with midi skirts. I have a straight shape so anything that can make the illusion of curves, I’m all here for it! Here are the ones I’ve had my eye on so far (they’re from Asos)
Sequin Midi Skirt
Leather Midi Skirt
A nice coat is always needed for this season and I am loving the color on this one from Asos
Biker Cape Coat
SHOES! I need my shoes! I’ve been eyeing these pairs and I swear every time I buy shoes a pair always comes from Zara.
Zara Court Shoe w/ Ankle Strap
Kelsey Dagger Bootie
Lastly, I really want this vanity for my room. Since I’ve moved a lot of my things have been heta sketa (Nigerian slang-term for “all over the place”).

What are you guys wishing for this year?
As I rummaging through my closet looking for what to wear today, I had a small epiphany. We have a tendency to not do certain things because we feel like it’s already been done. Especially with style blogging, there are thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, of women and men doing the same thing I’m doing. But I told myself that regardless of that fact, I have a passion that I want to share with the world and being a needle in a haystack wasn’t going to stop me.
We have all similar gifts that are expressed in so many different ways. Let’s take advantage of the gift God has given us and be thankful that we are able to use it effectively. So, here’s the same skort, styled with what may be my new favorite coat this season (my friend and I went shopping together and decided she didn’t want it so, yea, I took it instead Lol!) This skort is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe and you will probably see it again, and again, and again. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
